Since the cooling thermostatic circulating bath contains refrigerant (gas), some airlines or sea forwarding companies list it on to the dangerous goods, so for some shipment to some special countries or regions, we discharge refrigerant gas according to the requirements of our customers, and let customer charge corresponding refrigerant locally after our bath arriving the destination. This can greatly reduce international freight, simplify the transport procedures, and ensure the transport time.
How to fill in the refrigerant correctly? Please refer to the following steps:
Required tools: pressure gauge, corresponding refrigerant, inflation tube, disassembling and assembling tools
Steps:
1. Ensure that the thermostatic bath is in the shutdown state. Open the panel on the back of the chassis, and the compressor inside the equipment can be seen (as shown in picture a);
(pic.a)
2. Find the copper pipe (thin pipe, not red, as shown in picture b) for the suction valve behind the compressor, and measure it with a pressure gauge to ensure that it is in a negative pressure state;
(pic.b)
3. Remove the connection valve cover of copper tube (as shown in picture c) and open the valve of refrigerant cylinder (note: refrigerant cylinder is placed upright, not upside down)
(pic.c)
4. Connect the threaded end of the aeration pipe to the valve cover of the refrigerant steel bottle and the other end to the multi-purpose pipe of the suction valve of the compressor (as shown in picture d);
(pic.d)
5. Start charging refrigerant. Since the refrigerant is filled in the form of wet steam, it is necessary to open the steel cylinder valve properly and fill the cylinder with gas slowly to prevent the compressor hitting. (if the equipment system is in a vacuum state, the refrigerant will be injected automatically, and the refrigerant will stop injecting when the pressure in the system and the pressure in the cylinder are balanced);
6. When the injection meets the requirements, close the cylinder valve and allow residual refrigerant in the trachea to be sucked into the system as much as possible. Finally, close the multi-purpose pipe in the equipment and check the gauge reading (the reading will slowly fall back and finally stop);
7. Open the equipment for trial operation. If the refrigeration function works normally, it means that the refrigerating medium has been added successfully this time. Otherwise, it indicates that there may be leakage in the copper pipe or joint of the equipment.
Note: Before filling, please double check the type and volume of refrigerant to be added to the equipment model (generally according to the requirements of the manufacturer).
