Heat Calculation of Thermostatic Bath for External Circulation

If you need to cool an equipment, you can use a simple formula to calculate how much heat your device will generate, then according to the calculated results , you can choose the most suitable product model of our thermostatic bath instrument.

Eg.  Cooling water inlet temperature=15℃ 

       Cooling water inlet temperature=16.2℃ 

       Cooling water flow=6L/min

So the heat generated by the application system can be calculated according to the following formula:

                     P=m/t ×g × c ×ΔT

 

Among them, m/t (cooling water flow)        360L/hour

                    g (proportion of water)          1.0kg/L

                    c ( specific heat of water)      1.0Kcal/kg/k

                    ΔT (Cooling water inlet temperature difference) 1.2k

                    P=360×1.0×1.0×1.2= 432Kcal/hr = 502W     (note: 860 Kcal/hr =1,000 W)
