The rotary viscometer equipped with the constant temperature water tank| thermostatic water bath circulator needs to select the right rotor according to the sample viscosity and set the right speed.
Precautions for the selection and use of rotors:
1. The constant temperature water tank| thermostatic water bath circulator must be kept horizontal.
2. When selecting a rotor, choose the number of rotor when the viscosity of the measured sample is closest to the measuring range of the rotor number.
3. When connecting the rotor, gently hold and hold the mandrel with your left hand (on the main engine), and rotate the rotor with your right hand. This operation is to protect the mandrel and gossamer in the fuselage, which can extend the service life of the instrument.
4. Bubbles should be avoided when the rotor is put into the sample, otherwise the measured viscosity value will be reduced. The way to avoid this is to put the rotor into the sample tilted, and then install the rotor.
5. When measuring different samples again, the rotor must be kept clean and dry. If there are other samples or water remaining in the rotor after cleaning, the measurement accuracy will be affected.
6. The maximum acidity (PH) should not exceed 2. If the acidity is too high, special rotor should be selected.
7. Select the standard viscosity liquid according to the measured viscosity range, and verify the instrument before each use of the viscometer, or check periodically to ensure the accuracy of the measurement.
8. The viscometer can be cleaned at room temperature or heated.
